Get a reference image

To download and unpackage a reference image:

1. Before installing the reference image, review its release notes. To see these release notes, use these steps:
   • In the QNX Software Center, on the Available or Installed tab, navigate to and right-click your reference image, and then select Properties.
   • In the Properties window, on the General Information pane, click the link beside Release Notes.

   You should be redirected to the release notes on the QNX website as long as you're logged in with your myQNX account.

2. Use the QNX Software Center, to install the QNX SDP 7.1 Sensor Framework Renesas R-Car V3H reference image.
3. Navigate to the location where the QNX Software Center downloaded the reference image to your host system. You should see a ZIP file with the name, SensorFramework_Image_SDP710.rcarv3h.sd.ext.evaluation.img.buildnumber.zip in your $QNX_BASE/targetImages/sf directory. For example, $QNX_BASE/targetImages/sf/SensorFramework_Image_SDP710.rcarv3h.sd.ext.evaluation.img.148.zip.
4. Extract the ZIP file to a convenient location on your host system. In the directory you extracted the ZIP file to, you should see the following files:
   • rcarv3h-sd.img (the reference image)
   • program_v3h (the image-loading utility for this reference image)
