Convert a string to uppercase
Synopsis:
#include <string.h>
char* strupr( char* s1 );
Arguments:
- s1
 - The string that you want to convert to uppercase.
 
Library:
libc
Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.
Description:
The strupr() function replaces the string s1 with uppercase characters, by invoking toupper() for each character in the string.
Returns:
The address of the string.
Examples:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <string.h>
char source[] = { "A mixed-case STRING" };
int main( void )
  {
    printf( "%s\n", source );
    printf( "%s\n", strupr( source ) );
    printf( "%s\n", source );
    return EXIT_SUCCESS;
  }
produces the output:
A mixed-case STRING
A MIXED-CASE STRING
A MIXED-CASE STRING
